In a parking lot, reviewing a list of retailers that accept Apple Pay, I commented on this aloud.
Pulling away, she commented, “Didn’t they have Apple Pie?”.

Tuesday Tracy took me to Just Between Friends, a consignment sale for kids.
After what seemed like a minute but was really an hour, I finally found her amidst the aisles of clothes.
She searched some more. I helped find the targeted goods.
A great time. Great deals.

The official Thanksgiving day started with family brunch and ended with a line of lunatics waiting 2 hours outside of Target in the icy, snowy air.
Cozy to crazy.
Yes, while the official Thanksgiving holiday was Thursday, I’d like to proclaim ‘julieabbymac’ a blog of thanks. This is my daily demonstration of values and joy. These are the things that, to me, are worthy of giving thanks. No need for a special once a year list.
Thanksgiving is celebrated annually with family and friends while giving thanks is worthy of a journal, a blog or simply a calendar reminder to keep the thought top of mind.
Narrative:
Abby and I spent our long weekend together with friends, with family, and with Santa. The princess is loving the lights of the holidays and learning some of the initial icons.
We have a Christmas tree. We visited the Northtown Mall Santa. We have a lighted snowman.
She shopped her heart out with Grandma and I this weekend. Record breaking sales reported for the black friday weekend. Sales from online retail to reach 10%. We were contributors to the economy’s craziness…having so much fun along the way!
Thanksgiving. Black Friday. Thus begins the holiday season and continues many days of giving thanks.
