Stone-Wave

Yes. It’s Stone-Wave.

Yes. It’s from the Home Shopping Network.

Yes. It’s mommy and Abby cooking together.

A stoneware all in one single serving cooking crock for the microwave.

We put in the steak.

We put in the potatoes.

We put in the peppers and seasoning.

5 minutes.

We had dinner.

What a good eater when she made it herself!

A Dog’s DVD

Who knew? I have another mermaid fan.

Touching what is barely a button, the pooch pushed the power “on”.

This dog watches more TV than me.

It’s funny how his curiosity sets off this chain reaction that always makes me smile.

Mac’s mermaid movie.

His nose makes it play!

Hugging the Stars

Spontaneous hugging.

Expected when it’s Mom or Mac, Grandma or Grandpa, Andy or Alice.

Expected when it’s Auntie or Uncle, Puppies or Kittens, Babies or Friends.

Spontaneous hugging.

Tonight the unexpected.

Hugging the TV when the moment moved her.

The Star that was dancing earned the hug of the night.

King of Thrones

He’s the King of the Throne (and Jess was there too)!

How fun to see the premiere episode of the King of Thrones at 612Brew; of friends and with friends.

Watching renovation and hearing back story.

Smelling beer and tasting snacks.

Such a fun night…and a great new bathroom for Bruno!

Dancing with the Moon

“Dancing with the Stars”, an inspiration for partnership, laughter and physical fitness.

We dance together. We dance apart. But dance we do.

In anticipation, we talk “Stars”.

We talk of watching. We talk of dancing.

Before the show I was offered insight into the appeal and association…”Moon, mommy”.

Tonight we would be “Dancing with the Moon”.

The Order of Things

Tonight, even before removing her jacket, Abby runs swiftly to turn on TV for basketball.

TV

An odd order, but obviously perfectly logical to this toddler.

The order of things. Think it through.

A logical order for dinner? Serving meat, veggie, fruit, bread all on the same plate. Perfectly logical to mom.

Full. Often done after selecting the servings bread and of fruit. Nummy.

Tonight, the order of dinner things changed.

To encourage the meat and the veggie, tonight served first.

The bread and the fruit are the treat at the end.

The order of things makes all of the difference. Clean plate club at dinner for Abby.
