The Chemist

I’d like to say that I could be proud of this prodigy.

This chemist.

I’d like to say that I was happy to clean-up the bathroom.

This mess.

Walking into the bathroom this morning I discovered destruction.

Lotion, lipstick. Blush, base. Oil, water. Toothpaste and soap.

Experiments. Cooking. Beautifying. All in one place.

She’s growing. Time to try top shelf storage.

The Animals at My House

I thought I had one pet at my place

However…

watching drawers emptied at a hurried pace

And two with toys stuffed in their face

I soon realize that this is not the case

Yogurt

I’ve shown it before

It transpired again

The inevitable happened

About quarter of ten

The day after grooming

In search of a dropping

Mac found a way

To get under the slopping

The yogurt, it flew

And of course there he stood

On his head it did land

Like I predicted it would

Piano, Pockets, Pizza, ‘Puter, no P

1 – Early during playtime the piano was played. This piano is pretend and not actually musical.

Pday 1

2 – Pockets are a favorite. Peeking in Papa’s and protecting her own.

Pday 2

3 – If only a picture during pizza! To prep, I peeled the toppings from crust for ease of eating. Next, something never seen…the sauce being smeared all over her face. Yes, deliberately and generously lathered as if it were lotion.

4 – Alas, no Pee Pee on the potty today, but headway happens as we practice.

5 – Perhaps a near perfect day. Perhaps a near perfect blog as entered on this new ‘puter. 🙂

Babying my Baby

The story starts with a spotless car and a good Grandpa.

Sitting in her seat on Saturday, Abby yacked in the Yukon.

Yes, the car was freshly washed and occupied by only Abby and Dad.

Grandpa leapt into action, thinking only of the volume of excrement that just spewed from his car-mate’s mouth.

By the time I made it back to the car it was quite tidy. Very impressive.

For the rest of the weekend it was babying that my baby needed.

Cuddling. Napping. Reading (and more reading). TV watching. Hugging. Bathing.

Doing quite well at bedtime, just a little tired; I am optimistic about the week ahead.

The Abby/Mom “Wrap”

At our core, Abby and I differ when it comes to the need for neatness.

She organizes and covers and wipes and sweeps and moves and sets things over and over and over again. Mostly very constructive.

Convenience prevails as I look to set things down or put them away. Mostly very destructive.

Costco, once again, a clear illustration of life…
