The Green Light glows at the time set, thus alerting Abby that it’s ok to wake.
We’re still working out a few kinks in our process but certain sleep is closer once again.

“Lucky cow!,” replies Abby.
I guess that makes me a Lucky Cow; I have such a wonderful daughter (clearly having a bit of trouble taking off her pajama top this morning).
The Bagel Shop
We went to the bagel shop this morning.
We went to the bagel shop this morning to bring home breakfast for grandma and grandpa.
We went to the bagel shop because it’s Abby’s birthday and doughnuts are her favorite.
Yes, doughnuts. She calls them bagels; they do, after all, look similar.
I don’t correct her. I think it makes me a better mom to be feeding bagels.
Still Sleeping
“Mommy, I can’t go to school yet, my baby’s still sleeping.”

Without getting into trouble today, Abby found a more wonderful way to pass the time while I prepped for the day.
